Artist
Eduardo Chillida 1924 – 2002
About the work
Along with Tàpies, Chillida is one of the most important Spanish artists of this generation. Both explored approaches beyond the traditional with great joy in experimentation and employing a variety of materials. Typical for both artists is the creation of print surfaces that appear nearly sculpted. Nitaz is one of the largest graphic art formats of Chillida, known first and foremost as a sculptor.
