Provenance
1941 acquired as a preliminary plaster model »Wasserbecken mit Brunnenbuberl«, including a stone fountain base of shell limestone. - 1942 Delivery of a zinc casting and the fountain basin. - 1988 Installation in the inner city area in Chemnitz. - 1990 Destruction by vandalism and storage of the destroyed casting. - 2002 Dismantling of the fountain basin. The unrestored fountain figure has been in the Chemnitz Art Collections since 2010. Whereabouts of the plaster model unknown.
