About the work
The naked lovers stand closely entwined in front of the windowsill, kissing, completely unprotected. The curtains are drawn to one side, bringing the scene into focus with the brightness of the window behind them. Their faces merge into one, emphasising the intimacy of the moment. However, there is also a contrast between the inside and outside because someone could be watching from the opposite side of the house. Or am I the gawking spectator?
